Good stability
DTBHQ has a melting point of 212-218 C and a boiling point of 313 C. It can improve the thermal and oxygen stability, weathering resistance and flexural crack resistance of various polymer materials.

Scope of use:
DTBHQ is suitable for most organic polymers and is one of the most widely used industrial antioxidants, as well as a polymerization inhibitor for a variety of polyesters. It can be applied in the following materials and products:
A. All kinds of rubber: natural rubber (NR), neoprene rubber (CR), nitrile rubber (NBR), EPDM, butadiene rubber (BP), butadiene rubber (SBR) and other synthetic rubber and latex antioxidant DTBHQ, can delay the oxidation of vulcanized rubber and unvulcanized rubber and UV aging, is a non-polluting rubber products, sunlight does not change the color of the non-color DTBHQ is a non-polluting antioxidant, easy to disperse, has no effect on vulcanization, and is better than the usual antioxidants in terms of oxidation resistance. The effective amount is 0.5-1%.
B. DTBHQ can be used as an antioxidant for lubricants, biodiesel (fuel oil) and grease (including cosmetics). DTBHQ can interrupt the chain reaction of oxidation and prolong the oxidation induction period. DTBHQ has a high melting point and can be added to biodiesel (fuel) to improve its high temperature resistance and prevent oxidation deterioration under high temperature. It is more effective when used in combination with phosphite and thioether auxiliary antioxidants.
C. DTBHQ can strongly absorb 280-3lOnm wavelength ultraviolet light, is polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), ABS and polyester resins (such as polyester) and other polyolefin fibers and films of light and heat stabilizer, but also a good light stabilizer for polyformaldehyde. Because DTBHQ has light and heat stability, no coloring, so it is especially suitable for the manufacture of light-colored rubber products, medical supplies, latex products and adhesive tape, the general dosage of 0.3-0.5%.
D.DTBHQ is a variety of resin monomer polymerization inhibitor, it is butadiene, ethyl phosphate acetate, styrene and other vinyl monomers have good polymerization blocking effect, and the effect is durable and does not change color, significantly better than "hydroquinone". It can slowly react with free radicals over a long period of time and absorb the free radicals generated in the storage of unsaturated and polyester resins. It can improve the storage stability of resin with minimal effect on gelation time, especially in low-pressure environment, and can play a good role in blocking polymerization.
E.Color photosensitive materials in the process and storage, due to the developer's oxidation products in the emulsion layer between the diffusion caused by the non-selective generation of dyes, so that the photosensitive properties change and produce gray mist pollution, the addition of DTBHQ can avoid the occurrence of this phenomenon.
In addition, DTBHQ can be used as light stabilizer and antioxidant in paint, lacquer, polyester type adhesive and other products.
Usage:
It is used in the same way as commonly used antioxidant, antioxidant, polymerization inhibitor and light stabilizer. In synthetic rubber, DTBHQ has excellent effect when used with antioxidant DNP. The usual dosage range of DTBHQ is: 0.1%-2%, which can be used with phosphite to further improve the light and heat stability.
Storage, transportation and packaging specifications:

The product is easily oxidized and discolored after absorbing moisture, so it should be used up as soon as possible after opening, and be sealed in time to keep it dry.
