 Fish oil is rich in content. 13 polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), have effects such as brain building, intellectual health, cardiovascular disease prevention, anti-inflammatory, and cancer prevention. Due to the high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids in fish oil, it is extremely unstable to factors such as light, oxygen, and heat, and is prone to oxidation to form peroxides, which then decompose into short chain carbonyl compounds. 

This may be due to TBHQ being more prone to volatilization under high temperature conditions and losing its effectiveness, and under certain conditions, TBHQ may volatilize faster than BHT. Tert-butylhydroquinone, white crystalline powder its point is 126.5-128.5 ℃ point of 300 ℃ CAS No.: 1948-33-0, easily soluble in alcohols and waking up, most of the fats and oils, especially for vegetable oils antioxidant function is the most effective. Tertiary butylhydroquinone, referred to as TBHQ molecular formula for CH1402, molecular weight of 166.22.

How to use the product

Tert-butyl hydroquinone products can be used by direct method, seed method, pumping method, spraying and impregnation method, and mixing method, now we briefly introduce the direct method and seed method.

1 Direct method

Heat the grease to 60~70°C, add TBHQ according to the required proportion amount, stir vigorously for 10~15 minutes to dissolve it then stir continuously (no need to stir vigorously to avoid excessive air entry) for about 20 minutes to ensure the TBHQ is evenly distributed."

2. Seed method

Dissolve TBHQ completely in a small amount of fat (or 95% alcohol solution) to form 5%~10% TBHQ fat (or alcohol solution), then add it into the fat or oil directly or by dosage, and then stir it to make TBHQ evenly distributed."

Tert-butyl hydroquinone can be used in edible fats and oils, fried foods, dried fish products, biscuits, instant noodles, instant rice, canned dried fruits, cured meat products, roasted and fried nuts (February 2007 supplement), etc.
